Actuarial Valuation

StanCERA does not provide actuarial valuations of a member's retirement benefits, or legal, tax or other advice concerning the division of a member's benefits.  An actuary may be retained by the parties to determine the present value of the benefit.

 

StanCERA charges an actuarial fee of $350.00 for the calculations necessary to determine the benefit amount of both parties as stipulated in a Domestic Relations Order for Government Code §31764 (also referenced as Optional Settlement 4 or Option 4), if elected, upon retirement
