WES HALL

Mr. Hall is a native Californian, and served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He started out as a machine gunner and mortarman, and ended up in the 91st Machine records Unit in England.

After the war, Mr.Hall completed his education at College of the Pacific with a B.A. in Business Administration, graduating with Highest Honors.

Mr. Hall moved to Modesto in 1949 and started my career with Stanislaus County. IHe became the Business Manager of Health and Medical services, serving the county for 33 ½ years. During that time he has been serving the County Credit Union since 1950. Mr. Hall has been on all the committees and the Board---serving as Chairman of the Board for 35 of those years, and he is still an elected Board member.

Mr. Hall was first elected to the County Board of Retirement in 1965 as a General Member. He was re-elected to represent the active employees each of the next 3 years until he retired in 1983. In 1984, Wes was elected as the Retiree Representative to the Retirement Board, and he has been re-elected by the retirees each 3 years since then. Mr Hall stated he is proud of our financially sound retirement system and all of the benefits that we now have. We have a great Board and staff, and it has been an honor and a pleasure to have been a part of the growth and success of our system.
