Clarence Willmon
Clarence was born and raised in Merced California and graduated from California Sate University, Fresno in 1984 with a BS degree in Business Administration. He worked as a loan analyst for Central Valley PCA before accepting a position at the Stanislaus County Assessor’s Office in July 1987.
Until 2000 Clarence worked as a real property appraiser in the assessor’s office, reaching a Senior Appraiser level. During this time he was transitioning from appraisal work to software development and analyst work as the office became more reliant on technology. In 2000 Clarence switched to full time analyst and development work.
While working for the County Clarence met and married Elizabeth and has raised two sons. The oldest is serving in the US Air Force in Italy and the youngest is in college.
Clarence is aware of the great responsibility given him by the members of StanCERA and believes with the help and support of knowledgeable staff, mentoring by the other board members, and hard work he can make a positive contribution and bring a unique perspective to the Retirement Board.
