Gordon Ford became Stanislaus Treasurer-Tax Collector on January 4, 2005.  Gordon had been Chief Deputy Treasurer San Joaquin County 10 Prior to that he was Treasury Manager City of Palo Alto over 11 years.  He has also worked for the East Bay Municipal Utility District, Valley Nitrogen Producers, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, and Federal Home Loan Bank.

Mr. Ford received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received his Masters in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance from the California State University, Long Beach.  He has been the President of the California Municipal Treasurers Association and has a lifetime Instructors Credential in Business and Industrial Management, Banking and Finance.

Mr. Ford is married to his wife Cherie for over 20 years, and has three children, Valerie, 19, Tracy 17, and Ryan 13.
